Adamawa State Government Provides 1,000 Additional Mattresses for NYSC

The Adamawa State Government has today provided one thousand (1,000) additional mattresses for the use of corps members and camp officials during Orientation camps.

Recall that the NYSC friendly Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, had previously rendered one thousand (1,000) brand new mattresses to the NYSC for the same purpose, with the promise to supply an additional 1,000, following the attack of the NYSC Orientation Camp, Damare by hoodlums during the Endsars protests who looted over 2,000 mattresses. 

The additional 1,000 mattresses of Vita Foam brand have already been delivered and kept at the NYSC Orientation Camp Central Store, Damare. 

The mattresses will be a great source of relief to corps members and Camp officials during Orientation exercises.

In the same vein, the Hon. Commissioner For Youth And Sports Development Aloysius Babadoke this morning received in audience the NYSC corps members serving in Adamawa State on a Peace Advocacy Visit and Commendation to the Adamawa State Government.

The corps members in their separate remarks applauded the efforts of the present Administration led by H.E Government Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Hon. Babadoke as the NYSC friendly Government for ensuring that  all necessary inputs needed has been put in place for the corps members in the State to serve condusively.

In his response the Chairman Governing Board Of NYSC Adamawa State who doubles as Chairman Adamawa State Commissioners Forum, Aloysius Babadoke, thanked the corps members for identifying with him and the Fresh Air Administration, he assured them of his total support and cooperation during and after their service year in the State.
