GOV. FINTIRI GRANTS AUDIENCE TO TEAM FRESH AIR MOVEMENT

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Saturday has expressed determination to hand over leadership to a more determined, focused and committed youth to sustain the chain of legacy laid down by his administration come 2027.

The Governor who was glad that the youths in the state are fully engaging in politics noted that developed countries of the world today acknowledged the capacity and ingenuity of the youth and are giving them power assuring that with him steering the wheel, Adamawa State will not be an exception as his administration is ever willing and determined to hand over leadership of the state to a youth.

The Governor made this known when he play host to a political pressure group known as "Team Fresh Air Movement" at his government house residence in Yola.

While recounting his political journey which began at a youthful age and the opportunity given to him by his people to serve them, the Governor was optimistic that an opportunity for the youth will no doubt usher in another era of development and progress for the state.

He expressed determination to support the political career of any focus and determined youth to reach his full potential in the game.

He thanked the group for rolling out notable aims and objectives to drive the process that will ensure his reelection bid and urged them to unite and pursue the goal ahead of them saying that a victory for the PDP is a victory for the youth and development of the state.

Earlier in his address, the leader of the group Awal Hamza revealed that the group which comprised of youths have risen to the challenge and choose to stand in support of Fintiri whom they believe is the right candidate for the state come 2023.

Other objectives of the group include; sensitizing youths on the importance of voting for the right candidate in the person of Fintiri.

Eradicate tribalism and religious sentiment among the youths and tell of the good works of the Fintiri administration to the state through community service, door-to-door campaigns and unionism among others.
