GOVERNOR FINTIRI TO CONNECT SOME COMMUNITIES IN MICHIKA & MUBI TO NATIONAL GRID
The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Rural Infrastructure and community Development Hon. (Dr). Abdullahi Adamu Prambe has reemphasized the commitment of H E Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to connect some communities in Michika and Mubi North Local Government Areas in the State to National grid.
The Commissioner was in the two Local Government Areas to supervise the ongoing rural electrification of Bahuli Ward community in Mubi North and Bariki-Dlaka, Voka-Gye, Dlaka amongst other communities in Michika Local Government Areas of the State.
Dr. Prambe reiterated that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri's Administration is community driven and informed the people in the area that His Excellency is committed to ensuring that most of the rural dwellers in the state are connected to national grid before the end of his tenure.
It could be recalled that, on 22nd November 2021, Hon. (Dr). Abdullahi Prambe while defending the 2022 fiscal year budget of 1.3B for the Ministry before the House Committees on Public Accounts, Public petitions, Public Service and Electoral Matters, restated the Governor's commitment in providing more social amenities especially to rural communities in Adamawa State while reassuring that more electrification, rural roads project will be carried out within the mandate of the 2022 'Budget of Sustainable Hope'.
The projects are billed to be completed in three weeks.
