NATIONAL HONOURS AWARD 2022: HAMA BACHAMA APPRECIATES PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI

His Royal Majesty, Homun Daniel Shaga Ismaila (CON), (Kpawe Nomwe, Gilongo Diya), Hama Bachama, Chairman Bachama Traditional Council has expressed his profound gratitude to Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria for the recognition and gracious conferment of national honour of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) which event took place on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the international conference center, Abuja.

The Paramount Ruler also thanked the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Hon. Barr. Boss Gida Mustapha (CFR) and all staff of the Presidency for facilitating and successfully hosting the prestigious event.

The Monarch also thanked His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri the Executive Governor of Adamawa State for his sustained support especially on security matters and his unrelenting commitment to the peace and prosperity of the people of Adamawa state, which commitment has contributed significantly to the relative peace and brighter visibility of the Bachama Kingdom, which in turn has contributed to the recognition and honour bestowed on him by Mr. President and the Federal Government of Nigeria.

His Majesty Hama Bachama ascribed the relative peace in the land to the favour of God, sustained support and cooperation of the Federal, State and Local Government Councils, as well as the security services notably the Nigeria Police, the Nigerian military, the DSS, other government security agencies, and all the volunteers security outfits in the state such as Hunters' Group, the Vigilante, Nigerian Legion and all youth organizations who have remained relentless in their commitment to the pursuit of peace and prosperity for the Kingdom.

Hama Bachama appreciated his twin brother and fellow Monarch, Homun Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke, JP, MFR,

(Kpa Ngashe, Diyo Shifoto, Tikulo Batta) the Hama Batta who also accompanied him to the event. Homun Shaga Ismaila thanked all the Paramount Rulers of the Kingdoms of Numan Federation and Southern Adamawa State, notably the Gangwari of Ganye, the Murum Mbula of Mbula; the Kwandi Nunguraya of Guyuk and the Amna Shelleng of Shelleng whose individual and collective support and cooperation contributed in no small way to transforming the security landscape in the region. He appreciated by them and called for more cooperation and sacrifice towards securing the safety and prosperity of their people, and prayed for greater cooperation.
