Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, today held a consultative and Town Hall meeting with Michika community irrespective of party affiliation, where he exchanged Christmas pleasantries with the traditional institutions, community elders, women and youths


In his address, the representative of the Michika community, Barr David Barau, former deputy governor of Adamawa State said "we also hereby expressed our profound gratitude to your goodself for paying special and great attention to Michika LG in your administration"

He said "you have empowered our people through generous appointments and patronages. You have sorted out the controversial and contentious issues of the College Of Health in our favour, therefore we wish to promise and pledge 100% electorate support and solidarity for your continuity to 2027" 


The governor during the meeting held at the community civic center said, "Michika is my second home if not first, therefore if reelected for second term, my government will give Michika LG 100% developments"


He charged all residents and indigenes of Michika to vote for all candidates of the PDP in the 2023 general election, reeling out the achievements of his government in Adamawa State, especially Michika LG in particular. 


The town hall meetings had in attendance top government officials,  State and National Assembly party candidates, council chairman, traditional rulers, market women, artisans and other stakeholders.
