2023 CAMPAIGN: APC HAS NOTHING TO SAY TO ADAMAWA ELECTORATES

The APC in Adamawa State is similar to an alliance of NGOs, as former governor Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow previously stated.

This was clear during their most recent meeting, which was timed to launch the gubernatorial campaign.

The only thing the people of Adamawa will recall about the President's visit to launch the APC's election campaign is the suffering it caused locals.

First, they forced residents to travel long distances to reach their destination by closing the constantly busy Airport Road down to Bank Road and the police roundabout.

The other is the closure of every filling station in the city, which increased the cost of transportation. One might wonder why they ordered the closure of filling stations while disregarding the fact that residents must stand in long lines to purchase the good, which costs between 190 and 300 naira per litre.

As if that weren't enough, the successes of the current government prevented them from using anything to their advantage on the campaign trail.

To make matters worse, President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his awe at the progress milestones reached in the state in just three years.

He was obviously impressed as his motorcade drove through the streets of Jimeta to the point where he confided in Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

No fortune teller was necessary to deduce from the Governor's countenance that the President was praising him for a job well done.

At the campaign ground, the APC's nominee for governor was so perplexed that she had to run her campaign on a promise to pay salary on time to employees.

The response she got was a warning shot to Bola Tinubu, President Buhari, and the APC members.

Since it is well known that no administration in the state's history has given workers' welfare the required attention as Fintiri'sled administration, even individuals from outside the state were aware that she erred by bringing up matters related to it.

In addition to paying salaries on the 23rd and 24th of each month, the Governor also pays leave grants. Pensioners are not left behind either, as the current administration has so far paid all back taxes due as of 2013 and increased the monthly pension payout from 50 million to 100 million Naira.

We won't soon forget the nickname "ATM" that Adamawa State workers gave the governor in recognition of his respect for workers.

In addition to the current administration's seamless promotion process, primary school teachers have received promotions for the first time in 14 years as a result of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

No employee will opt not to support Fintiri since he value them highly. Note this.

They avoided discussing infrastructure projects because even the President acknowledged that Governor Ahmadu umaru Fintiri had made the state one of the greatest in the nation.

In recognition of everyone's admiration, the President personally named Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Infrastructure Governor of the Year 2022.

In reality, the APC in the state has nothing concrete to tout for their campaign other than inviting President Buhari to capitalize on his goodwill.

In order to continue to reap the benefits of democracy, the smart and intelligent people of Adamawa State have chosen to reelect Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
