 Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Officer, you will:

• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), Bids, and Proposals

• Support drafting and management of contracts and long-term agreements

• Conduct market research and register new vendors

• Maintain procurement logs for contracts, MOUs, RFPs, etc.

• Negotiate terms with suppliers to maximize value for money

• Prepare and follow up on Purchase Requests in BusinessWorld

• Evaluate supplier performance against contract KPIs

• Compile and update consolidated Procurement Plans

• Maintain organized records, databases, and supplier profiles

• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services through internal coordination

• Assist in compiling reports to support data-driven procurement decisions

 Required Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within International NGOs

• Strong understanding of INGO operational rules and donor regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience with procurement platforms and contract tracking

• Familiarity with QuickBooks – an added advantage
