Speaker Bathiya Joins Governor Fintiri as He Receives NEAPS ‘Governor of the Year’ Award on Urban Infrastructure
The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has joined Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where the governor received the NEAPS Governor of the Year Award on Urban Infrastructure.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard, Speaker Bathiya described the honour conferred on Governor Fintiri by the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) as well-deserved and another testament to his outstanding contributions to state and national development. The Speaker noted that this recognition marks the third major award the governor has received recently.
The award was presented to Governor Fintiri by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside other distinguished Nigerian leaders.
On behalf of the members of the 8th Adamawa State House of Assembly, Speaker Bathiya extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Fintiri, praising his unwavering commitment to transforming the state through massive infrastructure and urban renewal initiatives.
He emphasized that Governor Fintiri’s developmental strides continue to make the entire Assembly proud, reaffirming their support for his leadership.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley also called on the people of Adamawa State to keep supporting and praying for the governor as he continues to implement impactful projects across the state.
