Tribunal Fixes January 14 for Adoption of Final Addresses in Ganye Assembly Election Petition
The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Yola, Adamawa State, has fixed January 14, 2026, for the adoption of final written addresses in the petition challenging the election of the Member representing Ganye Constituency, Hon. Misa Musa.
The tribunal, presided over by Justice A. O. Ebong, announced the date after concluding hearings in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the recently concluded Ganye bye-election, Hon. Buba Mohammed Joda.
Hon. Joda is contesting the victory of Hon. Misa Musa, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent Ganye Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
The adoption of final written addresses marks a key stage in the legal process, after which the tribunal is expected to adjourn for judgment.
