Adamawa Assembly Confirms Appointment of Development Area Administrators
The Adamawa State House of Assembly on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of Development Area Administrators across the state.
The confirmation followed the consideration of a letter forwarded to the Assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. The letter was read during the resumed plenary session by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley.
In the correspondence, Governor Fintiri requested the House to consider and confirm the nominees for appointment as Development Area Administrators.
Earlier, the Majority Leader, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno (Demsa Constituency), moved a motion for the consideration of the Governor’s letter. The motion was seconded by the Member representing Guyuk Constituency, Rt. Hon. Sunday Peter.
Following deliberations, the House confirmed the nominees. The Speaker thereafter directed the Clerk of the Assembly to communicate the resolution of the House to Governor Fintiri for further necessary action.
