Actress Judy Austin, the second spouse of renowned Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has revealed that the recent videos depicting their altercations were all part of a playful scheme.

Taking to her Facebook page, she disclosed that the clips, which garnered significant attention and controversy on social media, resulted in earnings of $10,000 (N7.8 million) due to their viral nature.

Judy Austin took a jab at the critics who directed insults towards her and her husband in response to their prank videos.

To recap, one of the videos featured Yul preventing her from taking his car out, while another showed the actress blocking the road as her husband attempted to drive away.

In a third footage, she humorously denied him entry into the house, playfully locking him out late at night and jesting that he should return to his place of origin.

Despite facing criticism for their actions, Judy shared on Facebook that they had achieved significant financial success through their prank videos on the platform.

Contrary to popular belief, she clarified that she did not have any actual issues with her husband, as many had assumed.

Judy wrote, "People speculated that I had problems with my husband, Yul Edochie. Well, we have just earned over $10,000 from our prank videos, while some people took it too seriously. Congratulations to us!"
